RICHARD B. STEWART, CPA, CFP®, MBA
Richard B. Stewart (Rick) operates a full-service accounting and financial services practice specializing in tax, accounting and financial services to small businesses and individuals.
Rick has been operating his own practice in the Indianapolis area for more than 30 years.
Prior to opening his own practice, Rick worked exclusively in public accounting, both for the Indianapolis office of a large international accounting firm and a local accounting practice.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Rick graduated from Lawrence Central High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Indiana University – Bloomington and his MBA degree in finance from Butler University. In addition, Rick has taught accounting and tax courses as an adjunct faculty member at IUPUI and various local community colleges.
Rick is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (IN & SC) and Certified Financial Planner. Rick is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Financial Planning Association.
Rick is married with a son recently graduating from Purdue University and a daughter recently graduating from the University of South Carolina. Murphy and Marshall are the family Labrador Retrievers. Rick enjoys spending time with his family, in addition to golfing and sailing, where he is a member of the Indianapolis Sailing Club.
